We’re off: with our 1st Public Viewing on the topic of human rights, we launch the OnHour – UNited for Future! initiative at the Brandenburg Gate on 18.10.2019. With this initiative, we want to draw attention to five UN conferences and topics that will be of great importance for all of us, for humanity, in shaping the climate crisis of 2020.
With Public Viewings we want to transfer the final day of the respective negotiations into the centre of our society, at central locations of our cities, look at the negotiations together and discuss the result. Why are the UN negotiations on climate, biodiversity, oceans, human rights and sustainability important to us, what do we expect from the negotiations, from our governments and what do people in other countries expect? We can find this out during the Public Viewing and then discuss it on an international level via a live link: We are UNited for Future!
We will discuss with representatives of national and international alliances from civil society and politics.
On the page where we also stream the live stream of the meeting, you can ask us questions at the bottom of the page, in the comment function, and tell us your expectations of the negotiations and the Federal Government.

In the further course of the initiative we also want to accompany the upstream and downstream political processes in Germany and the EU with our project offers.
